Recently the accrediting boards for the field of pediatrics determined that one of the criteria to be satisfied in order for pediatricians to become certified is to establish and participate in quality improvement programs in their practices. These programs are required to contain methods for determining the quality of the data they produce. The DQRI is partnering with interested organizations to determine what data quality assessments are appropriate, how to develop them and how to implement them.
