The heart of DQRI is projects. These projects will produce the body of knowledge about clinical data quality. Project topics run the spectrum from highly theoretical examinations of data quality nomenclature to extremely practical exercises in determining best practices, and from designing methodologies to studying their implementation. Projects will also include surveys of existing methodologies both within and outside of clinical research, with the intent of including them in the body of knowledge, either as they exist or with recommendations for applying them to clinical research data.
Projects can be sponsored and funded by DQRI, or by DQRI in partnership with other individuals or organizations. A variety of models for collaboration can be used, and each project can be handled in the manner best suited to it.
